Last year was mostly a bust for me for challenges so of course I decided to pick a handful more for this year!
Hopefully I’ll manage my time a little better for the challenges that won’t get filled through my normal reading schedule.
2012 Outdo Yourself Challenge hosted by The Book Vixen. I met my Goodreads goal of 250 last year so I’m going to try to beat that this year. I’m not so sure I can do it since I was very, very close to missing it, but I’m going to give it a try!
Hosted by Evie at Bookish, I’m giving myself an official reason to dig into my pile of books published last year. I’ve chosen the Sweet Kiss level and am hoping to read 11-20 books from my TBR Pile.
I’m really excited to start this one! Danya at A Tapestry of Books is hosting the New Adult Challenge (also being called YA-Mature).
I’ve picked the Moving out level which is 6 books.Since I’m already so close to that level and it’s only the end of May, I’ve decided to go all out and take the top challenge which is Fully Independent. Anything more than 9 books, anything I can get my hands on.I met the official goal total of 12 books on July 21st but I’m going to see how many more I can do!
I’m also doing a Debut Author Challenge. I’ve decided to drop out of the hosted version and just stick to the challenge on my own because it’s a fun one. I’m going to read 12 books by debut YA authors in 2012 (Jan. 2013 releases count, since ARC copies go out earlier).
I met my goal of reading 12 books by debut authors on June 12th but I have a lot more of them to read this year!
