Patsy Hagen has been drawn by Rafflecopter as the winner, but my emails to you have been getting returned by att.net – hopefully you see this and will contact me!
I’m afraid I have to hang my head in shame. I’ve been reading like a maniac for a read-a-thon and now it’s almost midnight and I have zero mojo to write up a review for a wonderful book I wanted to share with you for Indie Friday. Instead, I’m going to get to it right now by having a giveaway for it along with the sequel!
If you liked Easy by Tammara Webber, I think you’d enjoy this. It’s a very emotional story about a girl who is forced to move to Michigan with her mom and little brother who meets a really great guy who lives across the street. There’s instant chemistry (not insta-love!) that goes sideways when they find out he’s a student teacher at her high school (she just turned 18, he’s 21). There are all sorts of obstacles of course, but they’re continually drawn together by family drama and slamming, since he’s her poetry teacher and part of the course is expressing emotions through slam poetry. The story had me laughing and crying and I just downloaded the sequel for more. Slammed was told from Lake’s perspective and Point of Retreat is told from Will’s. I know what I’m doing tomorrow….
How to enter:
The giveaway is as super-simple as can be. Enter the Rafflecopter form with your name and email address so I can contact you if you win and just say “hi” in the form. That’s it! The giveaway ends at midnight on Saturday and I’ll post the winner on Sunday and also email you to let you know you’ve won.
