Torture. C.J. Duggan might as well have hidden my entire stash of chocolate, coffee and Coke since she’s dangled this goody in front of me. It wasn’t enough that I had to love the first book in the series, The Boys of Summer. Noooooo. It’s a series. A series set in Australia where it’s sunny and warm, where these gorgeous covers remind me that the characters get to spend a lot of time frolicking at the local lake. Me, I get to go outside and shovel. I think it would be more fun to just stare at the pretty covers for a while, right?

An Endless Summer (Summer #2)
By C.J. Duggan
Publication Date: July 17, 2013
Genre: New Adult Contemporary RomanceSean looked out over the lake, squinting against the sunlight. He turned to me, his expression sobering as his eyes flicked over my face in a silent study.
“Come on Amy, I saved you once, I’ll save you again.”
I met his stare unflinchingly. “I don’t need saving.”
A wicked grin formed slowly. “Don’t you?”
After a rebellious summer night that almost claimed her life, Amy Henderson – the Onslow publican’s only daughter – is sent away to suffer a fate far worse than any other punishment:
Boarding School.
Three years on, a now nineteen-year-old Amy returns to Onslow for the summer. What once was a cauldron of activity with live bands, hot meals and cold beers, the Onslow Hotel now lies dark, deserted and depressing. All fond childhood memories of loitering on the hotel stairs and eavesdropping on customers’ colourful conversations are in the distant past.
How had her dad let it come to this?
With the new threat of putting the Onslow up for sale, Amy reluctantly turns to a local tradesman for help: Sean Murphy, the very same Onslow boy who saved her life all those years ago. With his help and that of some old friends, the task is clear: spend the summer building the hotel back up to its former glory or lose it for good.
In an endless summer, Amy soon realises that sometimes in order to save your future, you have to face your past, even if it’s in the form of a smug, gorgeous Onslow boy.

OMFG!! I’m totally freaking out right now!! I just finished The Boys of Summer and am still on a totally high. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED it so much! Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much! I would give my only remaining kidney to get this book right now. -sigh- Sean.
I KNOW!
Wasn’t it insane?! I want this soo much! I’d better get in on a tour somewhere or I’ll DIE! lol
I feel like I already saw this exact same cover on another book.
Still, very pretty!
It’s making me miss home though!
Nick, you’re harshing my mellow! (that’s for the old people in the crowd! \m/)
Are you getting blasted with snow?
We’re due for 12″+ tomorrow – I’d rather be back home with you too. You should go somewhere warm for spring break!
We get snow nearly everyday, not 12 inches though! I would probably die in all that snow. I’m tired of the snow and the cold!
I wish I could, but I’m broke!
We just have crazy weather, not snow every day at least. :/ It’s supposed to be in the 40s and raining by the weekend. All of our snow has either been small (1-2″) or giant (7-14″). They’re already closing schools for tomorrow.
I hope you’re wrapping up in nice warm fleeces and sweatshirts!
I love book covers with smooching!!!
Yummy guys and smooching!
What a pretty and “summery” cover. I haven’t read The Boys of Summer yet but have heard great things and will be reading it soon!
It’s a terrific book – I love books set in Australia anyway, but this was a special one.
I love the cover, it sooo romantic. All kissy..:)

I know! Isn’t that part the best?! lol I seem to remember a million years ago getting kissy in a lake but I don’t think my boyfriend looked that delicious and I’m sure I didn’t look like that.
Very nice! I still want to read the first book. Nothing like a hot book about summer in the winter to chase away the blues, right?
Heidi, get that first book! You definitely need to and it’s perfect for warming you up in the winter. It’s fun and sweet and rawr, sexy Aussie boys – you can’t go wrong with those, right?
I LOVE this smexy cover! It’s the same cover reversed as Lengths by Liz Reinhardt/Steph Campbell
I really like the sound of it as well so I’ll definitely be picking up this series.
Thanks for sharing!
