Cover Reveal and Giveaway: The Forgotten Ones by Laura Howard

As one of the co-hostesses of the 2013 New Adult Reading Challenge, it’s my sworn duty to tempt everyone I can into reading New Adult books this year (and signing up for the challenge *ahem*). If I have to grab you and make you look at a gorgeous cover to do it, well that’s just my cross to bear. Was that too melodramatic? I have a pretty cover to show you though, designed by the fabulous Stephanie Mooney, who’s already done some very amazing covers I know you’ll recognize. Keep on scrolling past the good stuff and you’ll find an opportunity to win a $50 Amazon or B&N GC for sharing the news about Laura’s book too.

Allison O’Malley just graduated from college. Her life’s plan is to get a job and take care of her schizophrenic mother. She doesn’t have room for friends or even Ethan, who clearly wants more.

When Allison’s long-lost father shows up, he claims he can bring her mother back from the dark place her mind has sent her. He reveals legends of a race of people long forgotten, the Tuatha de Danaan, along with the truth about why he abandoned her mother.

  1. Interesting, most of the new adult i have been reading is straight up contemporary..and I am curious about the fantasy aspect of this.

  2. What a pretty cover. Adding it now.

This is an awards-free blog; we appreciate the thought but we just don't have time to reciprocate. I heard a rumor that someone slid virtual chocolate under the door once and it was well-received.

Talk to me! I love to hear what you have to say and will comment back.
