Every Friday, rather than reviewing just one of the usual big publisher new releases, we’ll be highlighting something from an author who’s chosen to self-publish or go with an indie or small publishing house. Many of these will be our own finds, based on recommendations from friends, shots in the dark because of an intriguing blurb or something that was sent to us that sounded good.
In addition, we’ll have some author interviews and guest posts, general silliness like dream casting and fan-squealing, the occasional giveaway and a trailer or two.
At the end of the month, once we’ve had time to read some good things, there’s just one thing left to do:
On the last Saturday of each month, we’ll have a short little post featuring the best of what we’ve read in Indie/Small Press/Self Pub books during the past month. Some may have gotten reviewed, some may just have made our private reading list but we want to give the authors a well-deserved shout-out. We hope that you’ll join in the comments section and tell us what you’ve read that you think deserves to be picked up too – it’s all archived under the Indie Friday tab up top.
