Finally we’re having wonderfully cool weather and it’s time to break out my favorite reading-time snuggle blanket. A perfect day is definitely curling up in my comfy chair with a cup of chai tea, my fuzzy blanket and a great book. (note to self: turn the phone off, lock the doors, put the cat in the bathroom with a big dish of food)
My TBR pile is at the tipping point thanks to the embarrassment of ARC riches I received last month and one absolutely wonderful RAK for a series I’ve been anxious to start from a new book friend, Kayla from Bibliophilia, Please.
Kayla sent me Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout:
Kayla was having a strictly pay-it-forward month, so to Stephanie at Cover2Cover, I sent Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter:
I hope everyone else had a lovely RAK month. Sign-ups for November are at Book Soulmates!

This is an awards-free blog; we appreciate the thought but we just don't have time to reciprocate. I heard a rumor that someone slid virtual chocolate under the door once and it was well-received.

i loved obsidian a lot ^^ so i hope you will enjoy it too
That’s great to hear, miki! I can’t wait to start the series.
I loved both of these books
I hope you enjoy them just as much..
Happy reading!
Thank you, Sharon! I’m glad to hear I’ve got some good reading ahead – I’ll probably be snowed in this winter and need it.
Ooh I want Chai tea now. I want to read both of the books above. I hope you enjoy Obsidian. I’ve heard many great things about it.
Chai tea is the BEST. I can’t remember how I got started on it but it was before our local coffee and tea store carried it. I was heartbroken! Now I can’t live without it in the fall/winter.
I can’t wait to find out how you liked Obsidian! I hope you have a great RAK month this month as well! <3
Thank you so much, Kayla! I was so happy to receive Obsidian.
From what I hear from Cait, I can expect good things from the series. lol
I hope you have an awesome RAK November too (if you’ll just let people start sending you stuff, darn it!)
